Olives are a flavorful snack that make an excellent appetizer, but they’re easy to make even better by marinating in a mix of chili and orange flavors. Stored in the fridge, these will last for several months, and the flavor just gets better over time.

Ingredients
- 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 small orange, sliced
- 2 cups good quality mixed olives
Instructions
- Put all of the ingredients in a saucepan and turn the heat to low. Heat for 15 minutes and turn off heat. Cover and let the olives marinate for about an hour.
- Serve at room temperature.
